NEET Seat Allotment 2021

NEET seat allotment 2021 will be done just a few days after NEET counselling. Seat Allotment is an option open for the candidates to get an idea of the seats they can get based on their choices and rank. Seat allotment mainly refers to the colleges that are allotted to a candidate based on his or her ranking in the NEET examination 2021. Candidates need to report to their college and confirm their seat by paying the course fee within given time. Allotment of seats depend on various factors like the candidate’s choice of college and the number of seats available. The counselling process and seat allotment process involves a number of steps in order.

Counselling for 15% AIQ seats will be conducted through online mode. Candidates are required to fill their choices of colleges during the counselling process.

Procedure for allotment

  • Online registration

  • Allotment result

  • Reporting to the allotted college

Online registration: Candidates will have to register on the official website online through Registration number & Password. By registering, the candidate has given consent to participate in counselling and seat allotment process.

Choice filling and locking: In this stage, candidates will have to choose medical/dental colleges and the course they prefer at the college they want. Once the choices are filled in the order of preference, then they are locked for further process.

Allotment result: The choices which were filled will be analysed and the seats will be allotted on basis of candidate’s preference.

Reporting to the allotted college: Candidates will have to report at the allotted colleges to confirm the seat and admission by paying the admission fees if candidates fail to report at allotted college their seats will be allotted to the next candidates.
