The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) was established in 1962 by Government of West Bengal. It is a state-government controlled centralized test, The board has been empowered to conduct Common Entrance examinations for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Professional and vocational courses. The WBJEE exam can be taken by those who studied Pure Science stream in plus two level with the specific subjects tested in the examination, which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

WBJEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for WBJEE exam differs from course to course. And there are many criteria and requirements that needs to be checked, failing to fulfil the eligibility criteria will lead to rejection of application form.
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Minimum Age: The candidate must be of 17 years as on 31st December 2022. A candidate should have been born on or before 31st December 2003.
- Maximum Age: For Marine Engineering Course the lower age limit is 17 years as on 31st December 2021 and the upper age limit is 25 Years as on 31st December 2022. There is no upper age limit for others courses.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by state or central government.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have passed with minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD) in the above mentioned three subjects and at least 30% marks in English.
- Domicile: Candidates should be residents of West Bengal.

WBJEE 2022 Time Table
The WBJEE 2022 Examination will be conducted in the month of February 2022 in Offline mode (OMR based). The exam duration for WBJEE 2022 is 2 hours i.e 2 hours for each paper (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Subjects of Paper I and II – Paper I include Mathematics subject whereas Paper II include Physics and Chemistry combined.

WBJEE 2022 Answer Keys
WBJEE 2022 Answer keys will be released prior to the announcement of WBJEE Result, candidates will have the option to challenge it with valid proofs if they are not satisfied with the answers provided. A final answer key will be released later which is final and cannot be challenged.

WBJEE 2022 Cut off
Cut off encloses opening and closing rank to determine the eligibility of the candidate to gain the admission. Candidates who meet the cut off conditions will be mentioned in Merit list.
Calculation of Scores
The scores are calculated by adding the total number of correct answers and subtracting the incorrect answers. The calculation of scores varies for each category defined under WBJEE Exam Pattern.
WBJEE 2022 Counselling
e-Counselling for WBJEE 2022 will be commenced after the cut off is declared and the merit list are prepared. There will be two separate merit list – General Merit list (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit list (PMR). e-counselling of will be held in three rounds. Candidates have to register themselves first to participate in the WBJEE counselling 2021, pay the counselling fee and fill their choices of courses and colleges.
WBJEE 2022 Reservation criteria
WBJEEB provides reservation of seats for students under reserved category depending on the category. Certificates should be produced for the reservation at the time of WBJEE Counselling.The reservation of seats is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD category students and those who fall under Defense quota. Verification for reservation claims will be verified/checked during counselling process.
WBJEE 2022 Seat Allotment
WBJEE Seat allotment 2022 will commence after e-Counselling process is completed. Seats will be based on merit/scores of the candidate. The seat allotment will be done online based on the candidates rank in WBJEE 2022, preference and availability of seats. Candidates must login in order to check their allotment details.
