The secondary nucleus and endosperm are the part of the developing seeds of angiosperm. Two polar bodies fuse to form secondary nucleus (2n). This structure when fuses with a male nuclei forms triploid structure (3−n) called primary endosperm nucleus which on division forms the endosperm (3n). This provides nutrition to the developing seed.
