where, $\frac{x}{m}$ = Adsorption capacity,

$p$ = pressure

and K, n are constant for a given adsorbate and absorbent at particular temperature.

$\Rightarrow log\frac{x}{m}=logK+\frac{1}{n}logP$

A graph between log$\frac{x}{m}$ against log p give a m straight line with slope equal to $\frac{1}{n}$ and ordinate intercept equal to log K.
