• Benzene sulphonyl chloride ( $C_6{H}_{5}S{O}_{2}Cl$ ), which is also known as Hinsberg’s reagent, reacts with primary and secondary amines to form sulphonamides. The reaction of benzene sulphonyl chloride with primary amine yields N-alkylbenzenesulphonamide.
• Aliphatic primary amines upon reaction with nitrous acid, they give primary alcohols.
