Solution:

It is an example of internal Cannizzaro reaction; where is oxidized while ketonic group of the same molecule is reduced. Since reactivity of aldehyde is more than that of ketone therefore, will attack on aldehyde, and it will get oxidise and ketone will get reduce to form alcohol.
