Overheads in the form of transportation =₹200 ∴ Total cost price of the TV=(4000+200)=₹4200
Given: Selling price of the TV=₹4080∵SP<CP⇒ There is a loss.
The amount of loss =CP−SP=4200−4080=₹120. ∴ Loss percentage =CP Loss (100)%=4200120(100)%=35100%=2.85%. ∴ Ramesh incurred a loss of 2.85%.
