CH4,NH3 and H2O all the three molecules shows sp3− hybridisation. In these molecules CH4 has bond angle 109o 28 and have tetrahedral structure. But NH3 and H2O has one and two lone pair of electrons respectively. Due to the presence of lone pair of electrons NH3 and H2O their bond angle is decreased as 107o and 104o respectively and have pyramidal and V shape respectively. Hence, the angle is maximum in CH4.
