We can see from the diagram that ammeter $A_{1}and{A}_2$ are connected in parallel and in a parallel LR circuit, resultant current is given by;
$i=\sqrt{i_1^2+i_2^2}$
where $i$ is the net current.
$i_1$ is current through $A_1$
$i_2$ is current through $A_2$
current through $A_3$
$\Rightarrow i=\sqrt{i_1^2+i_2^2}<(i_1+i_2)$
