Solution:
F2 phenotypic ratio is obtained on the basis of phenotypic character shown by the offsprings produced when F1, hybrid is self-crossed. For example, in a dihybrid cross the cross between homozygous pea plant having round and yellow seeds and homozygous pea plant having wrinkled green seed, F1, hybrid have phenotype round and yellow. When F1, hybrid is selfed it gives phenotypic ratio 9:3:3:1:: round yellow : round green : wrinkled yellow : wrinkled green.
