F2 phenotypic ratio is obtained on the basis of phenotypic character shown by the offsprings produced when F1, hybrid is self-crossed. For example, in a dihybrid cross the cross between homozygous pea plant having round and yellow seeds and homozygous pea plant having wrinkled green seed, F1, hybrid have phenotype round and yellow.
