A car of mass m is taking a circular turn of radius r on a frictional level road with a speed v. In order that the car does not skid ( μ= coefficient of friction)
When a vehicle takes a turn on a circular path it requires centripetal force. If friction provides this centripetal force then vehicle can move in circular path safely.
ie. Friction force > Required centripetal force μmg≥rmv2
