Solution:
Let the number of coins of denominations of ₹1,₹2, and ₹5 be 3x,4x, and 5x. The total value of the coins in the bag =₹[3x+4x(2)+5x(5)]=₹(3x+8x+25x)=₹36x.
The total amount in the bag =₹180 ⇒36x=180 ⇒x=5.
The number of ₹1 coins in the bag =3x=15. ∴ The number of ₹2 coins in the bag =4x=20
The number of 25 coins in the bag =5x=25.
