Acetophenone $ (C_{6}H_{5}COCH_{3}) $ does not give addition product with sodium bisulphite $ (NaHSO_{3}) $ solution. This is because, two bulkier groups are attached with the carbonyl carbon. These groups decrease the reactivity of carbonyl carbon.
