Q. Two bodies performing SHM have same amplitude and frequency. Their phases at a certain instant are as shown in the figure. The phase difference between them is:

From the given figure if we draw the phase diagram on circular motion representation it looks like

v from figure phase difference between $1 \& 2$ is given as
$\cos \theta=\frac{A / 2}{A}=\frac{1}{2} $
$\Rightarrow \theta=\frac{\pi}{3} \text { or } 2 \pi-\frac{\pi}{3}=\frac{5 \pi}{3}$
