Displacement is the algebraic sum of area under velocity-time graph.
$\therefore $ Displacement in $5 s$
$=\frac{1}{2} \times 2 \times 2+\frac{1}{2} \times 1 \times 2-\frac{1}{2} \times 2 \times 1+1 \times 1=3 m$
