Q. The temperature of a substance increases by $27^{\circ} \, C$. On the Kelvin scale this increase is equal to

Thermal Properties of Matter

Solution:

Suppose, $C =$ temperature at Celsius scale
$K =$ temperature at Kelvin scale
Now,
$
K = C +273
$
But the change in the temperature will be same by cancelling the $273^{\circ}$ factor. So, $\Delta^{\circ} C =\Delta^{\circ} K$
