Solution:

Given, equation of SHM $x=-0.5 \sin (2 t+\pi / 4)$
Now, comparing with general equation of SHM,
we get $x=A \sin (\omega t+\phi)$
we get $\omega=2$ or $2 \pi f=2$
or $f=\frac{1}{\pi} H z$
