Instantaneous velocity $v=\frac{\Delta x_{A}}{\Delta t_{A}}=\frac{4m}{8s}=0.5\,m/s$
and $v_{B}=\frac{\Delta x_{B}}{\Delta t_{B}}=\frac{8m}{16s}=0.5\,m/s$
i.e., $v_{A}=v_{B}=0.5\,m/s$
