Solution:

Macronutrients Micronutrients or Trace Elements
Examples : Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium. Examples : Iron, Manganese, Copper, Molybdenum, Zinc, Boron, Chlorine and Nickel.

Following steps are involved in nitrification :
$1.$ Oxidation of ammonia to nitrite (by Bacteria - Nitrosomonas and/or Nitrococcus)
$2.$ Further oxidation of nitrite to nitrate (by Bacteria - Nitrobacter)
Denitrification: Some bacteria such as Thiobacillus denitrificans, Pseudomonas aoruginosa and Micrococcus denitrificans also occur in the soil which convert the nitrate and ammonia into atmospheric free elemental nitrogen.
