$\frac{1}{ R _{\text{eq }}}=\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{8}+\frac{1}{12}+\frac{1}{6}$
$=\frac{6+3+2+4}{24}=\frac{15}{24}$
$R _{\text{eq }}=\frac{24}{15}=1.6 $
$\Rightarrow R _{ T }=1.6+0.6=2.2 \Omega$
$P =\frac{ V ^{2}}{ R _{ T }}=\frac{(2.2)^{2}}{2.2}=2.2 W$
