Solution:

Ozonolysis reaction takes place in which ozone gives its oxygens to but- $2$ -ene (unsaturated compound) to form carbonyl compound. Here reductive ozonolysis reaction takes place in presence of zinc which forms aldehyde and ketone on breaking of double bond. As shown below:
$CH_{3}-CH=CH-CH_{3} \rightarrow _{Zn / H_{2} O}^{O_{3}}2CH_{3}-CHO$
