Solution:

$Q = A _{1} \,A _{2} \sqrt{\frac{2 g \left( h _{1}- h _{2}\right)}{\left( A _{1}^{2}- A _{2}^{2}\right)}} $
$=6 \times 10 \times 10^{-4} \sqrt{\frac{2 \times 980(5)}{(-36+100) \times 10^{-2}}} $
$=6 \times 10^{-3} \sqrt{\frac{9800 \times 10^{2}}{64}}$
$=\frac{6 \times 10^{-3} \times 1000}{8}=7.5$
