Q. In case of dimensions of electric field and electric dipole moment the power of mass is respectively,

MHT CETMHT CET 2019

Solution:

Electric field, $E=\frac{F}{q}$
Where, $F=$ force and $q=$ electric charge
Dimensions of E or [E] $=\frac{\left[ MLT ^{-2}\right]}{[ A T ]}=\left[ ML T ^{-3} A ^{-1}\right]$
Power of mass $=1$
Electric dipole moment, $m =1 \times A$
where, $I=$ current and $A=$ area
Dimensions of $m=[M]=\left[A L^{2}\right]$
$=\left[M^{0} L^{2} T^{\circ} A\right]$
Hence, power of mass $=0$
