The force on electron in the electric field
$F =e E $
$\therefore $ Acceleration, $ a =\frac{F}{m_{e}}=\frac{e E}{m_{0}}$
Now, from equation of motion,
$S=\frac{1}{2} a t^{2}=\frac{1}{2} \frac{e E}{m_{e}} t^{2}$
