Q. If $\frac{x-5}{2}-\frac{x-3}{5}=\frac{1}{2}$, then the value of $x$ is

Linear Equations

Solution:

$ \frac{x-5}{2}-\frac{x-3}{5}=\frac{1}{2} $
$\frac{5(x-5)-2(x-3)}{105}=\frac{1}{2}$
$ 5 x-25-2 x+6=5 $
$ 3 x-9=5$
$ 3 x=24 $
$ \Rightarrow x=8$
