Solution:

Current $(I)$ flowing in a tangent galvanometer is given by
$I=k \tan \theta \text {. }$
Given, $k$ is reduction factor
$\left(k=900 mA =900 \times 10^{-3} A \right), \theta=45^{\circ} $
$\therefore I=900 \times 10^{-3} \times \tan 45^{\circ} $
$\Rightarrow I=900 \,mA$
