Q. Find the average molar mass of a gaseous mixture in $g / mole ,$ which contains $1.2046 \times 10^{23}$ atoms of an unknown gas and 0.2 mole of $H$, gas. The weight of mixture is 22 g.

Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry

Solution:

Average molar mass $=\frac{\text { Total weight }}{\text { Total moles }}$

$\frac{22}{\frac{1.2046 \times 10^{23}}{6.023 \times 10^{23}}}+0.2=\frac{22}{0.4}=\frac{220}{4}=55$
