Solution:

Equation of circle assuming $A\left(2 , 2\right)$ as
centre and radius equal to $2$ units is $\left(x - 2\right)^{2}+\left(y - 2\right)^{2}=2^{2}$ … $\left(1\right)$
equation of given circle is $x^{2}+y^{2}=8$ … $\left(2\right)$
equation $\left(2\right)$ $-$ equation $\left(1\right)$ gives
$4x+4y-8=4$ $\Rightarrow x+y=3$
which is the required equation
