The acceleration of block of mass $m_{1}$ is

$g=5\,m/s^{2}$
From FBD of block $m_{1}$

$m_{1}g-T=m_{1}a$
$\Rightarrow T=m_{1}(g-a)$
$=1 \times 5 =5\,N$
