Solution:

Mean of the errors = $\frac{80+80.5+81+81.5+82}{5}=81$
|80 - 81| = 1
|80.5 - 81| = 0.5
|81 - 81| = 0
|81.5 - 81| = 0.5
|82 - 81| = 1
Mean error $=\frac{1+0.5+0+0.5+1}{5}=0.6$
$\%$ errors =$\frac{0.6}{81}\times100=0.74\%$
