$\Delta H_{BE}^{^\circ }\left[\right.C=O\left]\right.=875kJmol^{- 1}$

$C\left(\right.s\left.\right)+O_{2}\left(\right.g\left.\right) \rightarrow \left(CO\right)_{2}\left(\right.g\left.\right)$
$715+500-1750-R.E.=-390$
$R.E=-145kJmol^{- 1}$
