Q. An object of mass $m$ moves with constant speed in a circular path of radius $R$ under the action of a force of constant magnitude $F$. The kinetic energy of object is

Motion in a Plane

Solution:

$KE =\frac{1}{2} m v^{2}=\frac{1}{2} \frac{F}{a} \times v^{2}$
$=\frac{1}{2} \frac{F \times v^{2}}{\left(\frac{v^{2}}{R}\right)}$
$=\frac{1}{2} F R$
