KVPYKVPY 2013

Solution:

A person with blood group ' $O$ ' is a universal donor, whereas person with blood group '$AB$' is a universal recipient. Blood group ' $O$ ' do not have any antigen on their $RBC$ whereas blood group '$AB$' do not have any antibody in their blood plasma, but both the antigens $A$ and $B$ on their $RBC$.
Therefore, a person with blood group '$A$' can donate blood to a person with blood group '$A$' or '$AB$' and can receive blood from a person with blood group '$A$' or '$O$'.
