Solution:

Velocity of A when it reaches the earth's surface
$=\sqrt{u^{2} + 2 h g}$
And velocity of B when it reaches the earth's surface
$=\sqrt{u^{2} + 2 h g}$
$\therefore v_{1}=v_{2}$
