Solution:

$t = \sqrt{\frac{\text{2h}}{\text{g}}} = \sqrt{\frac{\left(2\right) \left(\text{2000}\right)}{\text{10}}} = \text{20} sec$
$x = \left(\text{100}\right) \left(\text{20}\right) = \text{2} km$
