From law of conservation of momentum total initial momentum = total final momentum
$m_{1} u_{1}+m_{2} u_{2}$
$=m_{1} v_{1}+m_{2} v_{2}$
$0.1 \times 0+50 \times 0$
$=0.1 \times 100+50\left(-v_{2}\right)$
$0 =10-50\, v_{2}$
$v_{2} =\frac{10}{50}=0.2\, m / s$
