Mass of the boy $ m=50\,\,kg $ Downwards acceleration of lift $ a=9.8\,\,m/{{s}^{2}} $ Apparent weight of the boy when the lift is moving downwards is given by $ W=m(g-a)=50(9.8-9.8)=0 $
