The energy stored in the capacitor
$=\frac{1}{2}\text{CV}^{2}=\frac{1}{2}\times 4\times \text{10}^{- 6}\times \text{400}\times \text{400}=\text{0.32 J}$
This energy will be converted into heat in the resistor.
