Q. $2.5\, cm ^{3}$ of $0.2 M H _{2} SO _{4}$ solution is diluted to $0.5\, dm ^{3}$ Find normality of the diluted solution:

$V _{1}=2.5 \,cm ^{3}=2.5 \times 10^{-3}\, dm ^{3}$

$M _{1}=0.2\, M$

$N _{1}=2 \times M _{1}=0.4 \,N$

$V _{2}=0.5 \,dm ^{3}$

$N _{1} V _{1}= N _{2} V _{2}$

$0.4 \times 2.5 \times 10^{-3}= N _{2} \times 0.5$

$N _{2}=2 \times 10^{-3}=0.002 \,N$
