Solution:

Plastids are of following types? Chromoplasts are characterized by colour of plastids found in petals, fruit and root of certain higher plants. They are found in embryonic cells, green cells and meristematic cells. Chloroplasts are the most important and common plastids found in all the photosynthesizing cells except prokaryotes. Leucoplasts are colour less plastids, found in the underground part of plants which are not exposed to light. Respiration is an oxidation process involving the burning up of food substances such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins within the tissue to form carbon dioxide water and consequent release of energy.
