Solution:

Makoi plant (Solanum nigrum) or black nightshade belongs to family Solanaceae. It has alternate simple leaves without stipules but with reticulate venation. They have 5 petals with valvate aestivation which are fused to each other. Their gynoecium has two carpels that are fused together. Thus the ovary has two locules and is also superior. There are many seeds in their fruit but all of them have endosperm.
