I. The female accessory ducts are constituted by the oviducts, i.e., fallopian tube, uterus and vagina.
II. The ampulla is the widest part of the oviduct. It is the part where sperm and ovum are transported simultaneously by the fimbriae. Union of sperm and ovum, i.e., fertilisation occurs in this part.
III. The uterus opens into the vagina through a narrow cervix. The cavity of the cervix is known as the cervical canal.
IV. Mons pubis is a part of the female external genitalia. It is a cushion of fatty tissue covered by skin and pubic hair.
