Solution:
Members of class phaeophyceae are commonly called Brown algae. In most brown algae asexual reproduction takes place by biflagellate zoospores that are pear-shaped and have two unequal laterally attached flagella. In these algae vegetative reproduction takes place gfragmentation while sexual reproduction takes place by isogamy or anisogamy or oogamy.
