Inulin is fructan i.e. polymer of fructose.
Glycogen is stored food in animals, it is an homopolymer made up of glucose. It is multi branched polysaccharide in which glucose molecules are linked by alpha 1 - 4 glycosidic linkage and branches are linked by alpha 1 - 6 glycosidic linkage. It gives red colour with iodine solution.
