Solution:

Movement of solvent or water molecules from higher to its lower concentration across a semipermeable membrane is known as osmosis, the process occurs till it reaches its equilibrium.
Osmosis can be endosmosis or exosmosis. Endosmosis happens when a cell placed in a hypotonic solution then water starts entering the cell by osmosis and the cell will become turgid. Exosmosis happens when a cell is placed in a hypertonic solution and the cell start shrinking with plasmolysis. The shrinkage continues and further the cell become flaccid and the turgor pressure will reach zero.
Turgor pressure is the pressure exerted by the fluid of cells against the cell wall, it increases when the water content of the cell increase.
