Solution:

When the loops are brought nearer, magnetic flux linked with each loop increases. Thus, the current will be induced in each loop in a direction opposite to its own current in order to oppose increase in magnetic flux. This is in accordance with Lenz's law. So, the current will decrease in each loop.
