Trimerous flower, superior ovary and axile placentation is characteristics of family Liliaceae e.g.. Onion. Cucurbitaceae, Solanaceae and Compositae are dicot family characterised by tetra or pentamerous flowers, tap roots and reticulate venetion of leaves.
