Solution:

Tobacco and tomato are transgenic plants. In tobacco, transgenic characteristic is sulphonylured herbicide resistant and in tomato is brevise resistant, delayed ripening, increased sucrose and decreased starch. Transgenic plants are produced from transformed protoplast or cells by introducing genes from other plant. They can be used to produce hybrids or used as bioreactors to produce chemicals and medicines.
