Leucosolenia belong to Phylum Porifera. These are simplest animals as they show cellular organization. These are asymmetrical with no body cavity and are diploblastic. These show presence of pores all over the body. The two layers present are outer pinacoderm and inner choanoderm which encloses the spongocoel. These show presence of various cells for different functions. Choanocytes are seen on the choanoderm lining the spongocoeal. These are collar cells and are responsible for water transport through water canal system. The body also shows presence of spicules. Amoebocytes are totipotent cells in porifera.
