Least count $=1MSD-1VSD=\left(1-\frac{9}{10}\right)MSD$
$\Rightarrow 0.1MSD=0.1\times 0.1=0.01cm$
As ' $O$ ' of vernier scale lies before ' $O$ ' of the main scale,
Zero error $=-(10-6)\times ($ Least Count $)=-4\times 0.01=-0.04cm$
